Elon Musk fired Vivek Ramaswamy? Here's what former DOGE employee has to say

Vivek Ramaswamy, a key figure in the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has addressed the reasons for his departure. Dismissing rumors of a conflict with Elon Musk, DOGE’s co-leader, Ramaswamy clarified that his decision was driven by his plans to shift into electoral politics.
During an interview with Fox News, Ramaswamy dubbed the news of friction with Musk as “incorrect”, saying that their relationship was complementary rather than conflicting.
“I think that’s incorrect. But what I would say is, we had different and complementary approaches. I focused more on a constitutional law, legislative-based approach. They focused more on a technology approach, which is the future approach,” said Ramaswamy.
“We’re on the same page—divide and conquer in saving the country. It’s not a one-man show,” he added.

“Mutual discussion” with Musk, says Ramaswamy

Further explaining on him leaving DOGE and addressing whether Musk fired him, Ramaswamy said he had a discussion with Musk on this and both “are on the same page.”
“No, we had a mutual discussion. We are on the same page. Divide and conquer. In saving the country, it’s not a one-man show from the top down or the bottom up. It’s all of the above. And that’s what I’m for,” he added.
“When you are talking about a constitutional revival, it’s not just done through the federal government. It’s done through federalism, where states also lead the way. There’s no better person having a technological and digital approach than Elon Musk to lead,” he noted.
Reports suggest that he will campaign for governor of the state of Ohio.
